HEAR US Inc. exists to raise awareness of and sensitivity to homeless children and teens, to ensure that school-age children and youth have the same educational opportunities to enroll in and succeed in school as non-homeless students.
This unique national organization is the creation of Diane Nilan, with over 21 years of experience working with homeless families and individuals.
The first HEAR US project was to create a series of short videos to allow homeless kids to talk about their experiences. My Own Four Walls, the HEAR US documentary, is now available at their website, www.hearus.us.
